Borrowers rate the request process 4.8 out of 5. Here is what great meadow credit ratings cover, what they leave out, and how to read any loan review with care.
How to read great meadow credit ratings and reviews
Read great meadow credit ratings as reports on one step, the request process: how easy the form was, how clearly offers were shown, and whether borrowers felt free to decline. The lender's rate and approval are separate.
We are a free loan-matching service, not a lender. A borrower fills out one request form, it is shared with lenders in our network, and if a lender makes an offer, that lender shows its own APR, term and fees. Reviews of our service therefore describe the matching experience for personal loans. They cannot tell you what a lender will offer you, because that depends on your credit, income, state and the amount you request. A great meadow credit review can describe the steps; only a lender can describe the price.
Three habits help with any review of loan-matching services or personal loans:
Look for detail. A useful review names the purpose, the rough amount and what happened next, such as a lender asking for a pay stub before funding personal loans.
Read the four-star reviews. Mild complaints often reveal more about the real process than a row of perfect scores.
Separate the service from the lender. A complaint about a rate or a payment usually belongs to the lender that made the loan.
The borrower comments further down this page follow that pattern. Each one lists the purpose and amount requested, so you can find experiences close to your own situation, whether that is a $500 card balance or a $5,000 move. Reading several of them gives a fairer picture of great meadow loans than any single comment.
02
What borrowers report about the request process
Borrowers requesting personal loans most often mention that the request form takes a few minutes, that lender offers show the APR and monthly payment up front, and that declining an offer carries no fee or obligation.
Across the comments we receive, a few themes repeat. People requesting personal loans for car repairs and medical bills tend to value a clear payment figure they can compare with their budget. People using personal loans to consolidate card balances tend to focus on whether the new monthly payment and total cost beat what they pay now. Movers often mention timing, because a truck rental or deposit has a fixed date. In each case, the great meadow credit request was the starting point and the lender's offer decided the outcome.
Common positives
One short form for personal loans instead of repeating the same details on several lender sites.
Offers that state the APR, term, monthly payment and any origination fee before the borrower signs anything.
No pressure to accept, and no charge for using the service.
Funds that arrived as soon as the next business day after approval for some borrowers, depending on the lender.
Common complaints
A lender asking for an extra document, such as a second pay stub or a bank statement, before final approval.
An offer for less than the amount requested, or a longer term than the borrower wanted.
Follow-up emails or calls from a lender after the borrower had already chosen another offer.
Those complaints are useful. They show that each lender runs its own verification and makes its own decision, and that a request is the start of a lender's review, not the end of it. Our step-by-step guide to how a request works explains each stage.
03
What a 4.8 rating from 4,032 ratings does and does not mean
A 4.8 average from 4,032 borrower ratings means most people who chose to rate the request process were satisfied with it. Those personal loan ratings come from a minority of the roughly 78,000 borrowers who used the service.
About one in 19 borrowers left a rating, a little over 5%. People who rate a service are a self-selected group, and they tend to be either pleased or unhappy enough to say so. A high average is a good sign about the form and the way offers are presented, but it is not a scientific survey of every borrower. Read a great meadow credit rating as a signal about the experience, not a measure of the personal loans lenders offered.
What the great meadow credit rating covers
The rating does tell you
The rating does not tell you
How easy borrowers found the request form
Whether a lender will make you an offer
Whether offers felt clear and easy to compare
What APR or amount you will be offered
Whether borrowers felt free to say no
How a specific lender handles servicing or late payments on personal loans
General satisfaction with the matching step
How fast your own funds will arrive
Keep the scale in mind too. Lenders in our network show APRs of about 5.99% to 35.99% (est.), and the lender sets the real rate. Two borrowers requesting personal loans can both rate the process five stars while receiving very different offers. One might see a lower APR for a $1,000 repair, while another is offered a higher APR for $4,000 because of a thinner credit file.
If you are comparing great meadow loans with other options, treat the rating as one input. The offers themselves, and the total you would repay, matter more than any average score.
04
How lender reviews and great meadow lending reviews differ
Reviews of a lender cover personal loans themselves: approval, APR, payments, customer service and collections. Reviews of our service cover the matching step that comes before any loan is made.
Great meadow lending reviews are about the request form, the way offers are displayed and how easy it is to walk away. Once you accept an offer, your agreement is with that lender, and its reviews on consumer finance sites are the better guide to servicing, payment options and hardship programs on personal loans. A borrower who later has trouble with a payment should contact the lender directly.
That split also explains why a lender's rating and ours can differ. A borrower can be satisfied with how quickly a request reached lenders and still be unhappy with the rate a lender offered, or the reverse. Neither score cancels out the other. Keep both in mind when you read great meadow credit feedback next to lender reviews.
To research the lender side, our comparison of 22 personal loan lenders lists published amounts, APR ranges, terms and fees for smaller US installment lenders. Lenders listed there are shown for comparison and are not necessarily in our network.
Not the credit unionIf you searched great meadow credit union or great meadow fcu, note that we are not that credit union and are not affiliated with it; we are a free loan-matching service. Reviews of that credit union are not reviews of our service.
05
Red flags in fake loan reviews
Fake reviews of personal loans tend to be vague, oddly uniform and full of promises no honest lender or matching service would make, such as approval for anyone or a rate before any review.
Promises of approval: be wary of any review or ad that promises approval before reviewing anything about your income or credit.
No detail at all: "Best loan ever, five stars" says nothing about the purpose, the amount or what happened.
Copied wording: several reviews that share the same phrases, typos or sentence structure.
Bursts of ratings: dozens of perfect reviews posted in a short window, often from new profiles.
Requests to pay first: any review steering you to send a fee, gift card or wire before funding points to a scam.
Specific rates for everyone: a review claiming every borrower gets the same low APR ignores how lenders price personal loans.
Real reviews of personal loans usually contain small, ordinary friction: a lender wanted another pay stub, the offer was for less than requested, or funds took one extra day. That kind of detail is hard to fake at scale and is often the most useful part of a review. Genuine great meadow lending feedback tends to read the same way, with one or two concrete details about the request.
Watch for lookalike sites too. Scammers copy real names and colors to collect personal data. A genuine great meadow credit request is free, never asks for an upfront payment, and never asks you to share a login or password for your bank account.
06
What great meadow credit feedback shows by loan purpose
Borrower comments differ by purpose: movers stress timing, people with medical bills stress clear payments, drivers with repair bills stress speed, and people consolidating cards stress the total cost of personal loans.
Moving: reviewers requesting $500 to $5,000 for trucks, deposits and storage most often mention getting an offer in time for a fixed moving date.
Medical bills: reviewers often checked with their provider or insurer first, then compared a fixed personal loan payment with the provider's plan.
Car repairs: reviewers mention comparing a personal loan offer against a credit card and choosing a payment date that matched their pay schedule.
Card balances: reviewers focus on whether one fixed payment and a set payoff date cost less than their current cards.
Personal expenses: reviewers who sent great meadow loans requests for everyday costs value seeing the APR, fee and total repaid before deciding.
The four-star comments cluster around one theme across every purpose: a lender asking for an extra pay stub, a bank statement or an employment check. That is the lender's verification, and it is worth planning for. Anyone reading great meadow credit feedback before a request can save a day by having those documents ready.

How to leave feedback on your great meadow credit request
You can rate your great meadow credit request after it is complete, or contact our team at any time with a comment, a complaint or a question about how your information was shared.
Rate the request process: the form, the way offers were displayed and how easy it was to decline.
Describe what happened, including the purpose and rough amount, without sharing account numbers or your Social Security number.
Send concerns about a specific loan, such as a payment or fee question, to the lender that made it, since the lender controls the account.
Use our contact page if something about the request itself went wrong or you want your information removed.
We read negative feedback about personal loan requests as closely as positive feedback, because it shows where the request process can be clearer. We do not pay for reviews or offer rewards for high ratings, and borrower comments on this page are published with first names and last initials only. Feedback about great meadow credit requests helps us improve the form; feedback about personal loans themselves helps the lender.
Our advertiser disclosure explains how we are paid by lenders in our network and how that relationship affects what you see. Common questions about requests, offers and personal loans in general are answered in the frequently asked questions.
08
Using reviews before you request personal loans
Reviews are most helpful when you use them to set expectations: which documents lenders may ask for, how offers are shown, and how much time to allow before a bill or move is due.
Based on what borrowers report, a few steps make a request smoother. Have a recent pay stub or proof of income ready before you request personal loans, since several reviewers mention a lender asking for one. Know the amount you need and the monthly payment you can afford. For reference, a $2,000 personal loan over 12 months at 24.99% APR works out to about $190.08 a month (est.), with about $280.94 in interest (est.); the lender sets the real terms.
Requests for great meadow loans run from $500 to $5,000, with terms typically from 6 to 36 months, and some lenders charge an origination fee of 0% to 8%. Compare personal loans offered to you against the total you would repay, not only the monthly payment, and remember that you can decline every offer at no cost.
Most of all, read reviews of personal loans as evidence about a process rather than a promise about your result. Rules vary by state, lenders make their own credit decisions, and no review can tell you whether you will receive an offer. What reviews can tell you is what the steps feel like, so you can decide whether a great meadow credit request is worth five minutes of your time.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Are these reviews about the lenders or about your service?
They are about the request process: the form, how offers were shown and how easy it was to decline. The loan itself, including the APR, payments and servicing, comes from the lender that made the offer, so lender reviews are the better guide for those. Great meadow credit ratings describe the matching step only.
Do you pay borrowers for reviews or remove negative ones?
No. We do not pay for reviews or offer rewards for high ratings, and four-star comments with complaints appear alongside five-star ones. Borrowers are shown by first name and last initial only to protect their privacy.
Does a high rating mean I will get an offer?
No. A rating reflects how past borrowers felt about the request process, not whether a lender will approve you. Each lender reviews your information and decides on its own, and terms vary by state and lender. A great meadow credit request is free, so you can see whether any lender responds before deciding anything about personal loans.

Small balance, simple process
I only needed $500 to clear two small card balances and assumed nobody would bother with an amount that low. The form took a few minutes, and a lender came back with a personal loan offer that showed the payment and total cost clearly. One due date has made my month calmer.

Moving deposit covered calmly
Our move needed $1,500 for the truck and a new apartment deposit. I filled out the request on my lunch break and had a personal loan offer to review that evening. The lender spelled out the APR, the term and the payment, so I could check it against our budget before agreeing. Nothing felt rushed.

Clear offer, personal expense
I requested $1,000 for a personal expense I had been putting off. What I liked most was that the site never pushed me. The lender's personal loan offer listed the payment, the origination fee and the total I would repay, and I had time to compare it with my credit card before saying yes.

We were relocating for a new job and needed $2,500 for movers and a security deposit. The request form was short, and a lender in the network made a personal loan offer with a term that kept the monthly payment manageable. Seeing the total repaid up front made our decision easy.

Truck rental sorted in time
I needed $2,000 for a truck rental and storage during a move. I sent one request instead of filling out forms on several lender sites. A lender asked me to confirm my income, then sent the final personal loan terms, and the funds arrived in time for moving day. Straightforward from start to finish.

One payment instead of four
I was juggling four card payments and wanted to combine about $2,000 into one fixed personal loan. The lender I was matched with showed a lower APR than my cards and a clear end date. I compared the total cost before accepting, and now I know exactly when the balance will be paid off.
I requested $2,000 for a medical bill after an ER visit. The lender I was matched with made a fair personal loan offer with a clear monthly payment. The only hiccup: the lender asked for an extra pay stub before finalizing, which added a day. Otherwise the terms were easy to follow.

Repair covered, extra paperwork
My transmission needed work, and the shop quoted about $3,000. The form was quick, and a lender came back with a personal loan offer that fit my budget. One small downside: the lender wanted a recent bank statement as well as my pay stub, so finishing took a little longer. Still worth it.

Long move, manageable
Moving across the country cost more than we planned, so I requested $4,000. The lender's offer laid out a 36-month term, the monthly payment and the full repayment amount, which helped us decide. I appreciated that nothing was hidden and that we could walk away if the numbers did not work.

Surgery bill in payments
After an outpatient procedure, I owed about $2,500 that my insurance did not cover. I checked with the hospital about a payment plan first, then sent a request here. A lender offered a personal loan with a fixed monthly payment that worked better for me, and the terms were explained clearly from the start.

My car needed brakes, tires and a suspension part, about $3,000 in total. I submitted the form in the morning and was looking at a personal loan offer that afternoon. The lender walked me through the terms, and I could pick a payment date that lined up with my paycheck. Very smooth.

Helpful, with one small delay
I requested $1,000 to cover a lab and specialist bill. The lender I was matched with was clear about the APR and payment, which I appreciated. My only complaint is that the lender asked me to upload a second pay stub after I thought I was done. Once I sent it, everything moved along fine.

Fair offer, small snag
I needed $2,000 for a transmission repair. The process was easy and the lender's personal loan offer was clear on the APR and payment. My one gripe is that the lender asked for an extra pay stub before sending the money, and I had to dig it out. After that, everything went as described.

Even a small move counted
I only needed $500 to cover a truck rental and a few moving supplies. I was not sure a lender would bother with an amount that small, but one did, with a short personal loan term and clear payments. The site was easy to use, and nobody pressured me at any point along the way.
